Co-Care in Bucharest!

On the 17th of October, Co-Care coordinator Anna Ramon Aribau from the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia, represented the project at the 32nd Alzheimer Europe Conference “Building Bridges” in Bucharest, Romania. The conference took place as a hybrid event for the first time ever, with delegates and presenters able to join either on site or online, making the event as accessible, inclusive and interactive as possible. 544 participants from 42 countries attended the conference, from the 17th to 19th of October 2022. On the agenda were over 250 presenters, sharing their research, knowledge and experience in an atmosphere of true collaboration and solidarity.

Anna presented the toolkit for family caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s in front of about fifty attendees. Among them were caregivers and people with Alzheimer's. The Toolkit was positively received, and caregivers in the audience asked about when it will be available to the general public. Celia Soares from Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal joined online to introduce the results of the state of play report conducted to understand the status of co-created ICT-based Alzheimer care solutions.
